Ghummakkad Narain - The Travelling Children’s Literature Festival, is an innovative initiative aimed at promoting reading and literature appreciation in both private as well as government schools both in English as well as in Hindi. The festival is organised by the NGO’s Nivesh and Himalayan Heritage Art and Cultural Hub (HHACH) in the memory of award winning writer and noted journalist Thakur Vishva Narain Singh. The festival is organized in partnership with the Sarv Shiksha Abhiyan, National Book Trust, Penguin, Westland, Puffin India, Scholastic, Harper Collins, Pratham Books, Paragon, Amar Chitra Katha Media, Ponytale Books, Orient Blackswan, Suryastra, Disney India, French Embassy in India, Italian Cultural Centre, Australia India Council, Polish Institute, British Council, Japan Foundation, Association of Writers and Illustrators of India for Children, Nehru Memorial Museum and Library, National Museum Institute, Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA), among others.
